Introduction
The Airwallex and Xero Bank Feed connection automates your financial bookkeeping by establishing a direct bank feed between the two platforms. This integration automatically syncs multi-currency transactions that impact your currency wallets directly into Xero, eliminating manual data entry and streamlining the reconciliation process.

Setup Instructions
Make sure your user account has the right permissions before you start setting up the connection. To manage Xero connections, your account must have one of the following roles in Airwallex User Management: Owner, Admin, or Finance Admin. For instructions on how to check and assign roles, see our user access management guide.
Follow these steps to set up the connection:
Log in to your Airwallex account.
Navigate to Connections: Select Settings from the left-hand navigation bar and click on Connections.
Select the Xero tile under the Recommended tab.
Click See details on the Bank Feed tile.
Click the Connect button.
Connect your Xero user account: Provide your Xero credentials and grant access to the Xero organisations you wish to connect to Airwallex entities.
Map Airwallex entities to Xero organisations: Select the corresponding Xero organisation for each Airwallex entity. Each Xero organisation can only be mapped to one Airwallex entity.

Map wallet currencies to Xero bank accounts: You will see a list of Airwallex accounts under each mapped entity. For each account, select the currencies you wish to sync transactions to Xero.
Note:Accounts with prior Airwallex transactions are pre-selected by default.
You can choose an existing Xero bank account to sync Airwallex transactions if an account in the syncing currency is already available.
Alternatively, you can sync transactions to a new Xero bank account that is automatically created for you using the naming convention:
{AWX_Account Nickname_Balance Type_Currency}.
Review your currency selection to ensure all desired wallets are included, then confirm the setup.
Your Bank Feed connection is now successfully configured.

How to Update Entity Mapping
If you need to change which Xero organisations are mapped to your Airwallex entities after the initial setup, you can edit the mapping at any time.
Navigate to the Connections tab in your Airwallex account.
Select Xero > Bank Feed to access its home page.
Under Manage connection, locate the Entity mapping.
Click the Edit mapping button.
Update the Xero organisation mapped to each Airwallex entity as needed. Each Xero organisation can only be mapped to one Airwallex entity.
Confirm your changes.
How to Disconnect Xero Bank Feed
If you need to remove the Bank Feed connection, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Connections tab in your Airwallex account.
Select Xero Bank Feed to access its home page.
Click the Disconnect button and confirm your selection to disconnect.
