How do I set up Xero Expenses and Bills?

Log in to Airwallex

Navigate to “Settings” in the left-hand navigation bar and click on “Connections”

Select the “Xero” tile under “Recommended” tab

Click "See details" on the "Expenses and Bills" tile

Click the “Connect” button

Connect Xero user account: Provide your Xero credentials and grant access to the Xero organisations you wish to connect to Airwallex entities.

Map Airwallex entities to Xero organisations: Map Airwallex entities to Xero organisations. Note that this mapping is shared across both Bank Feed and Expenses and Bills. If Bank Feed is already set up, review the mappings

Map Airwallex wallet currencies to Xero bank accounts: You will need to map your Airwallex wallet currencies with corresponding Xero bank accounts to sync your expenses and bills. Note that the bank feeds transactions and expenses and bill should sync to the same Xero bank accounts, therefore, this mapping is also shared across Bank Feed and Expenses and Bills, so review any existing mappings if necessary

Import Xero accounting data to Airwallex. This includes your Chart of Accounts, Tracking Categories (up to two), and tax rates, and contacts.
You can customise the values employees can use when submitting their expenses and bills. The available accounting values for each entity are based on the accounting data in the corresponding Xero organisation. -
Finally review your currency and accounting data selection

Your Expenses and Bills connection is successfully set up. Note, we will activate your Xero Bank Feed if you have not activated it prior to setting up Expenses and Bills
How do I disconnect Xero Expenses and Bills?
- Navigate to the 'Connections' tab
- Select Xero Expenses and Bills to access its home page
- Click the disconnect button to disconnect
