What is a withdrawal?
A withdrawal is when you withdraw funds from the Yield account to your Airwallex account. This is completed by selling your purchased units for a monetary amount.
You cannot withdraw more than your available Yield balance.
What options are available for withdrawals?
Instant withdrawals
Instant withdrawals settle to your cash balance within seconds. Depending on your plan, there may also be a fee for instant withdrawals. There is a daily limit on instant withdrawals:
- 100,000 USD
- 100,000 EUR
- 100,000 GBP
- 100,000 HKD
Standard withdrawals
- USD, EUR & GBP withdrawals submitted before their respective cut off times, should settle into your cash balance in 1 business day (T+1).
- HKD withdrawals submitted before their respective cut off times, should settle into your cash balance of your Global Account¹ in 2 business days (T+2).
- Please note, withdrawals are only processed on days that are not public holidays in the currency's country. For example, USD withdrawals will not be processed on US public holidays.
There are no limits and no fees for standard withdrawals.
Cut-off times
Processing cut off times apply to all unit classes and are dictated by the currency. If you submit a withdrawal after the cut off times indicated below, your withdrawal will be processed the following business day.

How do I make a withdrawal?
- To make a withdrawal, navigate to your Yield account (Wallet -> Balances -> Scroll to below your Airwallex Cash balance)
- Click on the 'Withdraw' button. You can do this from the main balances page or within a selected currency Yield balance page
- Choose the currency and input the amount you would like to withdraw then click ‘Next’
- Review the information you’ve inputted and click 'Confirm' to submit your withdrawal request
- You’ve successfully withdrawn from your Yield account
You will receive an email notification confirming your withdrawal request. You’ll receive an additional email notification when your withdrawal has settled to your Airwallex account. Due to regulatory obligations, you will not be able to turn off these email notifications.
