Request a Purchase Order

You can initiate a PO request from two places: (1) Under Purchase Orders, select New PO request. (2) Under Requests, select Create request, then select Purchase Order.

 

Depending on your company’s configuration, the request may need to be approved before the PO is created. You can track the PO request status under Requests

 

Once the PO request is approved, the PO is created automatically under Purchase Orders and will be an “Open” state, ready for bill matching.


You can view and manage the Purchase Order following this guide. To support spend controls and audit trails, key details on a purchase order such as unit prices, amounts, and vendors cannot be updated after the PO is created. Requests to change Purchase Orders (sometimes known as Change Orders) are not currently supported, but will be in the future.
