You can use your Airwallex Global Account to collect your sales proceeds from Amazon. However, you will need to go through a few extra steps to fulfill the additional data requirements before your Global Account can be used as a deposit method. Follow this guide to make sure your account is set up correctly.
Before You Start
Make sure you have:
- An Airwallex Global Account
- Access to Amazon Seller Central for your store
Step 1: Complete the required data with Airwallex
You are required to provide the following information before linking your account. If you have received an email from us or see a task item in your Dashboard, you can also use the link provided to navigate directly.
-
Contact Information
- Log in to your Airwallex WebApp
- Go to Settings→ Accounts → Select the Account
-
Ensure your email address and phone number are both provided under Contact Information
-
Link an External Bank Account
- Go to Wallet → Linked Accounts
- Follow the instructions to add and verify a local bank account (this cannot be an Airwallex Global Account)
Important:
- It may take up to 2 hours after completing the steps for your information to sync with Amazon. Please wait for 2 hours before you proceed to Step 2
Step 2: Add Your Global Account as an Amazon deposit method
Once you’ve completed the KYC actions:
- Log in to Amazon Seller Central.
- Go to Settings → Account Information → Payment Information.
-
Click Deposit Methods → Manage Deposit Methods or Replace default deposit method.
- Enter your Airwallex Global Account details and submit.
- Note that for US Global Accounts, please use the ACH routing number (not the Fedwire number) as required by Amazon
Step 3: Check for Alerts
- If your account passes the validation, it will be set as your deposit method for receiving future payments
- If you see an alert calling out pending KYC actions, it may be because:
- Your KYC information is incomplete - please refer to Step 1
- There’s a temporary delay - Please wait for a business day for the error to automatically dismiss
- Contact Airwallex Customer Support if you keep seeing alerts or have any questions.
