How do I open a Yield Account for the first time?
For the New Airwallex WebApp Experience (Beta phase):
If you see "Business Accounts" in the left navigation column, you're on the new Airwallex experience. If you don't see this then please refer to steps outlined under "For the existing Airwallex Webapp Experience"
Navigate to the Business Accounts page and click on ‘New account’
- When asked what type of account you want to create, select Yield
- To open a Yield account, you will be asked to provide your company’s tax details and agree to the Terms & Conditions. In some cases, you will need to upload extra documents to get started on Yield.
For the existing Airwallex Webapp Experience:
If you don't see "Business Accounts" in the left navigation column, you're on the old Airwallex experience. You will be migrated to the new WebApp experience soon as we gradually roll it out.
- Navigate to the Wallet and click on Balances, then scroll to the Yield section and click on 'Get started'. Note that the Account Owner must be the one to complete this (not admins and users).
- To open a Yield account, you will be asked to provide your company’s tax details and agree to the Terms & Conditions. In some cases, you will need to upload extra documents to get started on Yield.
Is there a minimum investment amount?
- The minimum investment and withdrawal is 20 EUR, 20 GBP or 20 USD. You can move funds from your cash balances to your Yield account at any time.
