- Your money is first safeguarded by Airwallex Netherlands Capital Stichting, a separate legal foundation that holds client money in its own name and keeps it fully separate from Airwallex’s own funds.
- The Stichting holds bank accounts in its own name for the benefit of Airwallex clients, ensuring your assets are safeguarded and segregated from Airwallex’s own funds.
- When you invest through Yield, your shares in the underlying J.P. Morgan Money Market Fund are registered with J.P. Morgan Asset Management (Europe) S.à r.l. (“JPMAME”) under the name “AWX Client Assets.” This label makes clear that the investments belong to Airwallex’s clients—not to Airwallex.
- Airwallex Capital (Netherlands) B.V. acts only as your agent. It does not hold client money or investments on its balance sheet.
- JPAME is responsible for keeping those assets safe. They maintain clear records showing that:
- your investments are kept separate from the fund’s and JPMAME’s own assets; and
- Regular checks and reconciliations are carried out.
- No lien, charge or right of set-off applies to your investments, except where required by law.
- In the event that Airwallex Capital (Netherlands) B.V. is unable to meet its obligations, investors may be eligible for compensation under the Dutch Investor Compensation Scheme (Beleggerscompensatiestelsel), subject to applicable limits and eligibility criteria.
