How do I track and understand my investments with Airwallex Yield?

What does my Yield balance mean?

  • When you put money into Yield, Airwallex uses that money to buy units of money market funds.
    • A unit in a money market fund is your portion of the fund's total holdings. The Yield paid on your account depends on the performance and income of the underlying investments of that money market fund.
    • Refer to “Which money market funds does Yield investment my funds in” to access your underlying fund prospectus or other details
  • Your current Yield balance is calculated as the total number of units you hold multiplied by the unit price for USD (generally $1.00) minus the pending withdrawals you’ve initiated.
  • Your accrued earnings include your dividend earned to date minus the accrued Airwallex fee. The accrued earnings are added to your current Yield balance on the first business day of the following month.

Where can I find the unit prices?

Where can I get my monthly statements?

  • Your monthly statements are available to download from within the WebApp.
    • Navigate to the Wallet and scroll to your Yield balances
    • Click on the currency you wish to download your Yield statement for (USD only)
    • Click on the “Documents” tab
    • Click on the download icon next to the Statement you wish to view

When are my tax statements available?

  • 1099-DIV tax statements will be available by Jan 31 following the end of the tax reporting year.
  • If your federal tax classification is C-corp, S-corp or tax-exempt, you will not receive a 1099-DIV

Can I generate a statement for a specific time period?

  • We currently don’t offer this functionality, but are working on launching this feature at a later date.
