Airwallex Yield invests in a money market fund which invests in a range of liquid assets. Assets in money market funds typically include cash and cash-like investments with short maturities and high ratings, such as certificates of deposit, treasury bills and commercial paper. The underlying fund is JPMorgan U.S. Government Money Market Fund OGVXX (Capital Share Class).
When you invest in Airwallex Yield, your money is used to purchase units of the underlying money market fund. Each unit represents your share of the fund’s total holdings. Because the underlying fund is a fixed NAV fund, the unit price is generally held at $1.00. Your account balance increases as the fund earns income, which is distributed to you as dividends, net of fees.
