How do I manage existing themes?

Summary

Edit, duplicate, preview, or delete themes from the Themes page in the Airwallex web app.

View your themes

  1. Go to Settings → Themes.

  2. Each theme appears as a card showing the theme name, logo, and where it is applied.

  3. Click the expand arrow on a card to see the Applied to list and Preview panel.

The Airwallex theme card shows which billing entities and payment accounts are using the default branding (that is, they have no custom theme applied). This card is read-only.

Edit a theme

  1. Go to Settings → Themes.

  2. Click Manage on the theme you want to edit, then select Edit theme.

  3. Update any fields. The preview panel updates in real time.

  4. Click Save.

Changes take effect on customer-facing pages for all billing entities and payment accounts where the theme is currently applied.

Note: If you edit a theme that is applied to resources you do not have permission to edit, your changes apply only to the resources you can edit. The remaining resources stay on the original theme.

Preview a theme

From the theme card or while editing:

  1. Use the preview dropdown to switch between product types (for example, Digital Invoice, Payment Links, Customer Email).

  2. Use the desktop and mobile icons to change the viewport.

  3. Select the Details tab to see a summary of all configured values.

The preview shows only the fields you have configured. It does not apply the same default values that customer-facing pages use when a field is left blank (for example, your billing entity name as the display name).

Duplicate a theme

  1. Go to Settings → Themes.

  2. Click Manage on the theme you want to copy.

  3. Select Duplicate.

  4. A new theme is created with the same colours, logos, and support details as the original.

  5. Edit the copy and apply it as needed.

Duplicated themes are not applied to any resources by default.

Delete a theme

  1. Go to Settings → Themes.

  2. Click Manage on the theme you want to delete.

  3. Select Delete and confirm.

You cannot delete a theme that is currently applied to one or more billing entities or payment accounts. Remove all applications first, then delete the theme.

You cannot delete the Airwallex theme.
