Airwallex categorizes your card transactions using data provided by Visa as well as information from trusted third-party sources. Occasionally, a transaction may display an incorrect merchant name or be assigned to the wrong category.
The merchant name and category are largely determined by the Merchant Category Code (MCC) and the descriptor the merchant chose when setting up their payment terminal. Sometimes, these do not clearly match their actual business.
If you spot an inaccuracy, you can report it directly within your account to help us improve our merchant data.
Steps to Submit Feedback
- Log in to your Airwallex account at Airwallex.com.
- Navigate to the card transaction details page for the specific transaction you want to flag.
- Click Get help with this transaction.
- Select Merchant information is not correct from the available options.
- Enter the correct merchant name, category, or subcategory, and submit your changes.
Note: All submitted feedback is reviewed and may be used to update and improve the categorization of future transactions.
