In order for your business name to be printed on your physical employee cards, it must fit the following criteria:
> Has no more than 25 characters
> Only has standard English letters (A-Z, not case sensitive) and/or numbers (0-9)
> Does not have symbols
By default, your account’s business legal name will be used. If your business name contains unsupported characters, it will not be printed on your physical employee cards until you edit it to remove the unsupported characters. If your business name exceeds the 25 character limit, it will by default be truncated to 25 characters and printed on your cards.
If you’d like to edit this name, you can do so in two ways.
If you are creating a physical employee card for the first time, you will be prompted during card creation to review and, if needed, edit the business name.
You can also go to Card Settings to review and edit the business name.
Any edits to your business name will only apply to all physical employee cards created after that point. Previously created physical cards will not be re-issued with the updated business name.
At this time, we do not support disabling this capability and not printing your business name on your cards.
