I am unable to process refunds from my Shopify app

Scenario 1:

I have changed the account that my Airwallex app is connected to recently and now my refunds does not work

Situation: Your orders were processed under your old Airwallex account hence they are unable to be refunded when connected to your new account. The new orders are not affected made with your new Airwallex account connected will not be affected

Next Steps:

  1. Please process the refund in your Airwallex Webapp and cancel the corresponding order in Shopify
  2. You can also reconnect your old account to perform the refunds from Shopify and reconnect back to your new account once it's completed.

 

Scenario 2:

I have uninstalled the Airwallex Cards app or the Airwallex Online Payments app already and my refunds does not work 

Situation: Your orders were processed under your old Airwallex account hence they are unable to be refunded when the app is uninstalled. 


Next Steps:

  1. Please reinstall the Airwallex app that you had processed the orders with and connect it with the original Airwallex account you had connected with. 
  2. You should not be able to process the refunds on the Shopify admin page
  3. Alternatively, you can also process the refund in your Airwallex Webapp and cancel the corresponding order in Shopify admin
