What do I need to do in order to issue a refund via my Global Account linked to a payment gateway / e-commerce store?

If your Global Account is linked to a payment gateway or an e-commerce store, we encourage you to maintain sufficient balance to issue refunds. Most platforms will attempt to initiate refund transactions via Direct Debit and it may cause delays if there is no immediate balance available.

If you have Global Accounts in other countries where direct debit functionality is not available, please be aware that payment gateways and e-commerce stores will not be able to initiate refund transactions through Direct Debit.

Please note that this specific functionality for direct debit payouts is currently limited to the following Global Accounts: USD, AUD, and GBP that are based in the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom, respectively.
