QuickBooks Bank Feed

Our QuickBooks Bank Feed seamlessly syncs Airwallex transactions into your QuickBooks Online account. Simply link your Airwallex account with QuickBooks to authorise automatic transaction syncing for each connected currency.


To use the integration you must be on a Quickbooks Online Essentials plan tier or higher. Your account must have multi-currency support enabled, which is not available on the Simple Start tier. 

At this time EU/UK incorporated customers are not able to use QuickBooks Bank Feed yet.

How do I set up my QuickBooks Bank Feed?

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account (Note: your account must have multi-currency support enabled)
  2. Navigate to “Transactions” and select “Bank Transactions”
  3. Select “Link Account” or “Connect Account” 


  4. Type “Airwallex” in search bar

  5. Log in to Airwallex and select the Airwallex account to authorise QuickBooks Bank Feed connection 


  6. Once connected, you will see the full list of Airwallex currencies, which are displayed as <Airwallex account name>*<currency>. Select the currencies to sync transactions to your corresponding QuickBooks bank accounts.

    Due to limitations with Intuit systems, currencies may not be sorted alphabetically. Use Ctrl+F (Windows) or Cmd+F (Mac) to find currencies quickly. This will be addressed in future enhancements.

  7. Scroll to the end of the page and specify the desired start date for transaction syncing

  8. Once the setup is complete, you will be able to view Airwallex transactions in your QuickBooks Bank Accounts

How often do Airwallex transactions sync to QuickBooks?

Your Airwallex transactions will be synced once on a daily basis.

My transactions aren’t syncing, what should I do?

You can click the “Update” button to initiate a manual refresh.

My Airwallex balance and QuickBooks balance do not tally, what should I do?

QuickBooks balance is the register balance, which you can access via “Go to bank register” from the bank feed. Transactions imported from Airwallex but not yet added to the register are not factored into this balance. Ensure all transactions are added to reconcile balances accurately.
