When making local CNY transfers to mainland China using the online B2B declaration method, Airwallex requires you to provide sales order information for cross-border payment declaration. Submitting order information increases your transfer limit for CNY local transfers — the declared cumulative value of submitted orders sets the maximum threshold.
After successful declaration, your available transfer limit is shown in the Transfers section under Transfer methods.
Two ways to provide order information
Method 1 — Connect your online store
Authorise Airwallex to retrieve order data automatically from your ecommerce platform. Supported platforms include Amazon, eBay, Shopify, Lazada, and Fnac. Once authorised, generated orders are included automatically in your declaration quota.
In the left sidebar, select the Business Accounts.
Select the CNY repatriation tab at the top of the page.
Select the Account, and select Add a new Store in the page header.
Follow the on screen instructions to complete.
Note: Store review can take up to 3 business days.
Method 2 — Upload a sales order file
In the left sidebar, select the Business Accounts.
Select the CNY repatriation tab at the top of the page.
Select the Account, and select Upload orders in the page header.
Select a reviewed store from the list and select the Continue button.
Select Download template to get the B2B order information template.
Read the directions in the template and fill in all required fields. Use the date format
yyyy-MM-ddoryyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss.Upload the completed file — select Choose file to browse.
Review the validation results:
- Valid orders are listed ready to submit. - Invalid orders are flagged. Select Download error file to review the item_error column for each row.
Correct errors in your file (delete the error column before re-uploading), then re-upload.
Select Submit to add valid orders to your declaration quota.
Outcome: Your CNY local transfer limit increases by the cumulative value of the submitted B2B orders.
Common issues and recovery
My file fails validation
Download the error file and review the item_error column. Common causes include missing required fields, unsupported date formats, and duplicate order references. Correct errors and delete the error column before re-uploading.
My date format is not accepted
Use yyyy-MM-dd or yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss. If your system exports dates in a different format, contact Airwallex support through the Kai button in the bottom-right corner of the webapp.
My transfer limit has not increased after submitting orders
Refresh the Transfer methods page after a few minutes. If the limit still does not update, contact Airwallex support.

The best way to confirm if you are on the new version is to check your left sidebar column for any mention of Business Accounts. In the same sidebar, you can also check that you do not see Wallet or Transfers.
Certain actions and pages may not be visible if you have not been given sufficient global or account permissions.
