What is a Yield Deposit?
A deposit is a transfer of funds from your Airwallex cash balance to your Yield balance.
Funds transferred into your Yield balance will be used to purchase units in the underlying fund for the specified amount.
How do I put money into Yield?
For the New Airwallex WebApp Experience (Beta phase):
If you see "Business Accounts" in the left navigation column, you're on the new Airwallex experience. If you don't see this then please refer to steps outlined under "For the existing Airwallex Webapp Experience"
- To make a Yield deposit, navigate to your Yield account under Business Accounts

Click on “Add funds” button

Choose the account you want to add funds from

Choose the currency you wish to deposit and input the amount, then click ‘Continue’

Review the information you’ve inputted and click “confirm” to submit your Yield deposit. By doing so, you are making a securities transaction and purchasing units in the fund. You will receive an email with an estimated date for when the transaction will be completed, normally in 1 business day.
- Please note deposits can be placed anytime but will only be processed on the fund's trading days.

For the existing Airwallex Webapp Experience:
If you don't see "Business Accounts" in the left navigation column, you're on the old Airwallex experience. You will be migrated to the new WebApp experience soon as we gradually roll it out.

To make a Yield deposit, navigate to the Wallet and scroll to your
Yield balances. Note that you must be onboarded onto Yield in order to make a Yield deposit; see “How do I Get an Airwallex Yield Account (EEA)”? - Click on the “Add funds” button
- Choose the currency you wish to deposit and input the amount, then click ‘next’
- Review the information you’ve inputted and click “confirm” to submit your Yield deposit. By doing so, you are making a securities transaction and purchasing units in the fund. You will receive an email with an estimated date for when the transaction will be completed, normally in 1 business day. The confirmation page for the transaction will also confirm the estimated transaction date.
