Receive transfers via Airwallex Pay

Airwallex Pay is a fund transfer method that enables instant transfers between Airwallex account holders. When another Airwallex account holder wants to pay you, they send funds directly using your Airwallex Pay account number and name, no bank transfer required. Organisations can use Airwallex Pay to receive funds from parties outside your organisation who also hold Airwallex accounts. It is distinct from moving funds between your own accounts; for internal transfers, see How do I create a transfer?

Your Airwallex Pay details are on the Airwallex Pay tab within any Borderless Cash account. For account navigation, see What is a Borderless Cash account.

There are three key benefits to using Airwallex Pay as long as the sender and recipient hold Airwallex accounts:

• Free for eligible customers
• Available in 28+ currencies

Before you begin: you require permissions to view at least one Borderless Cash account. Airwallex Pay is not available to Embedded Finance connected accounts

View your Airwallex Pay details

First you need to open your Borderless Cash account page:

1. In the left menu, select Business Accounts. The section expands to show favourited accounts and a Show all link.
2. In the expanded list, select the account name to open the account’s page.
3. Select the Airwallex Pay tab within your Borderless Cash account 

For an account not shown in the list:

1. Select the Business Accounts menu item again, or select the Show all link, to go to the Business Accounts overview.
2. In the Accounts table, select the account row. Alternatively, select the row's ⋯ button, then select View details from the menu.
3. Select the Airwallex Pay tab within your Borderless Cash account 

After you are on the Airwallex Pay page, there will be two pieces of information that cannot be edited:

• Account number: A unique numeric identifier assigned to this Borderless  Cash account for Airwallex Pay. Share this with payers who need to identify your account.
• Account name: The name associated with this Borderless Cash account

All Airwallex Pay details can be copied by clicking on the copy icon. The Copy as a message button is available for a pre-formatted message combining both account number and name in one step.

How is Airwallex Pay different from internal transfers (transfers between accounts)?

Airwallex Pay is for receiving funds from other Airwallex account holders who are external to your organisation.

It is not a method for moving funds between your own accounts. To transfer funds between accounts within your organisation, use the Transfer between accounts workflow (see How do I create a transfer?).
