An Airwallex Account is not the same as a Global Account.

Your Airwallex Account is where money is held and managed.

A Global Account is a set of local bank details that allow you to receive funds, and in some regions how authorised parties pull it out. Your Global Account does not hold a separate balance. Funds received through any of your Global Accounts are credited to the corresponding Airwallex account.

Every Airwallex account has at least one Global Account matching its entity's country, and a single account can hold several Global Accounts scoped to different countries, currencies, and payment methods.
