Which currencies can I get a Global Account in and what payments can I receive?

With Airwallex, you will be able to create Global Accounts in 20+ currencies located in 10+ countries/regions. Global Accounts allow you to receive funds through domestic transfer methods or internationally via SWIFT.

Note that certain restrictions apply depending on your Airwallex onboarding entity as detailed later in this article. Please refer to this guide to determine which onboarding entity your business is registered under.

For Domestic Payments:

You'll be able to accept domestic payments in the currencies from the countries below:

3. Hong Kong SAR: CNY, EUR, HKD, USD
4. Singapore: SGD
5. Indonesia: IDR
6. Mexico: MXN
7. United Kingdom: GBP
8. Denmark*: DKK, EUR

11. Poland*: PLN
12. United States: USD
13. Canada: CAD
14. United Arab Emirates*: AED

For International SWIFT Payments:

You will be able to accept payments in the currencies below, from SWIFT-supported countries with Global Accounts accepting International SWIFT payments (See Overview of Global Account collection capabilities for details)

• AUD, CAD, CHF, CNY, CZK, DKK, EUR, HKD, HUF, JPY, MXN, NOK, NZD, PLN, RON, SEK, SGD, USD, GBP and ZAR

In Eurozone countries, all bank accounts based in the below countries are reachable via the SEPA payment schemes

• Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Germany, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Monaco, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia ,Slovakia Republic, San Marino

Non-Eurozone countries
In non-eurozone countries listed below, the SEPA schemes are only used for euro-denominated payments and are reachable through euro-denominated bank accounts. (For payments made in the local currency, national schemes should continue to be used)

• Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Denmark, Hungary, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, UK
