Vietnamese regulations require Airwallex to verify the identity of business customers. Please upload an official document that confirms your company is legally registered to operate in your jurisdiction. This requirement applies to all businesses from any country worldwide.
If you have not already provided us with this information during your Airwallex onboarding process, you will need to submit it now before you can create a Viet Nam Global Account.
Before you begin
Before submitting your documents, ensure you have:
- an active Airwallex account,
- a clear and readable digital copy of your company’s business registration document that is:
- in an accepted format (PDF, Word, JPG/JPEG, PNG, or HEIC), and
- under 10MB in file size.
Submit a business registration document
You must upload an official document that confirms your company is legally registered to operate in your jurisdiction.
The document varies by country, but may be any of the following:
- business licence;
- business registration certificate;
- certificate of formation, certificate of incorporation, or certificate of registration; or
- another official registration document issued by your local regulatory authority.

When creating a Viet Nam Global Account, you will be prompted to upload your business registration document as part of the account creation process:
- Select Viet Nam as your account location. When creating a new Global Account, choose Viet Nam from the list of available countries.Unless

Upload your document. On the ‘Provide your proof of business registration’ screen:
- Drag and drop your file into the upload area, or click Choose file to browse and select your document.
- Ensure your file is in one of the supported formats: PDF, Word, JPG/JPEG, PNG, or HEIC.
- Verify your file is under 10MB in size.

Review your upload. After uploading, you can:
- Click View to preview your document and verify it uploaded correctly.
- Click Delete to remove the document and upload a different file if needed.
- Complete account creation. Click Create Global Account to proceed. Your account will be created with a ‘Processing’ status while we review your documents.
After submission
Once you have submitted your documents:
- Your Viet Nam Global Account will transition to a Processing status.
- We will review your proof of business registration to ensure it complies with Vietnamese KYC regulations.
- You will receive an email notification once your account has been activated and is ready to use.
- The bank account number will be available in your account details after activation.
After your Viet Nam Global Account is activated and before you can start receiving deposits, please remember to increase your deposit limit.
According to Viet Nam regulations, businesses are required to provide corresponding sales order information for cross-border declaration. Airwallex provides a convenient experience for you to complete this declaration process before your transactions:

Connect to a Viet Nam marketplace. In the Global Account details page, you can click Increase limit which provides you with a way to connect to the approved marketplaces in Viet Nam.
- Select the marketplace you will be receiving deposits from.
- Log in to your marketplace seller account and authorise Airwallex to automatically download order information.
