There are three ways to add funds to a Borderless Cash account: receiving via a Global Account, using Direct Debit from a linked bank account, or receiving via Airwallex Pay. The right method depends on where the funds are coming from and your business's region.
Method 1: Receive funds via a Global Account
Use this method when an external payer is sending funds in a foreign currency.
Prerequisite: An active Global Account in the relevant currency. See How to create a Global Account if you do not have one.
Steps:
In the left menu, select Business Accounts.
In the Accounts table, select the row for your Borderless Cash account.
On the Borderless Cash account page, select the Global Accounts tab.
In the Global Accounts tab, select the row for the currency you are looking to receive.
Select the Show all button to reveal the full account details.
To copy a single field, click the copy icon next to each field. Or click Copy details as a message on the top right to copy as a pre-formatted message for sharing with payers.
Once the payer sends the transfer, funds will arrive in your Borderless Cash account when the payment settles.
Method 2: Direct Debit from a linked bank account
Use this method to pull funds from your own external bank account into Airwallex.
Prerequisite: You need an active linked bank account. See How to link your external bank account to Airwallex if you do not have one.
Availability: Direct Debit is only available for businesses based in the following countries. Refer to each region’s specific guidance on how to use direct debit to add funds:
Australia: See How to add funds via PayTo in Australia
Hong Kong: See How to add funds via FPS direct debit in Hong Kong
New Zealand: See How to add funds via direct debit in New Zealand
Singapore: See How to add funds via eGIRO direct debit in Singapore
United States: See How to add funds via ACH direct debit in the United States
Settlement time is typically 0–4 business days depending on the scheme and country.
Note: Direct debits can only be initiated by approved users on your account; Airwallex will never initiate direct debits without your knowledge. All accounts also have a preset daily limit; to raise this limit, you can contact your Account Manager or our Support Team through our WebApp.
Method 3: Receive funds via Airwallex Pay
Use this method to receive an instant transfer from another Airwallex account holder. Airwallex Pay is free, instant, and supports 23+ currencies. It is only for receiving funds from external Airwallex accounts. To move funds between your own accounts, use the Transfer to another account option instead.
How to find your Airwallex Pay details:
In the left menu, select Business Accounts.
In the accounts table, select your Borderless Cash account.
On the account page, select the Airwallex Pay tab.
The tab shows your Account number and Account name. To copy a single field, click the copy icon next to it. Or click Copy as a message to copy both fields as a pre-formatted message for sharing with payers
Share these details with the payer on the Airwallex network.
Supported currencies: AUD, CAD, CHF, CNY, CZK, DKK, EUR, GBP, HKD, HUF, ILS, JPY, KRW, MXN, NOK, NZD, PLN, RON, SEK, SGD, THB, USD, ZAR.
Transfers via Airwallex Pay are instant when both parties are on the Airwallex network.

Seeing a different version of the Airwallex platform?
You may be on the previous version of the Airwallex platform. See Revamped Airwallex experience: one place to run your whole business (beta) for more information on the change.
The best way to confirm if you are on the new version is to check your left sidebar column for any mention of Business Accounts. In the same sidebar, you can also check that you do not see Wallet or Transfers.
Certain actions and pages may not be visible if you have not been given sufficient global or account permissions.
